Few weeks ago, my friend send me an Email about How Wonderful Google Office is! I like their brainstrom graphic! Cool~~<-- Wonderful drawing!!??
In fact, few years ago when Pixar (the studios that created ToyStroy, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles) is start showing their talent in the world, a TV programme show their wonderland --- Pixar Studios at the same times. All Staff can carry any Stuff they love. They travel around their office by scooter or roller! ...
Now, they are the most successfull animation studios and Disney acquisite it.
In other words, How does business run successfully? I believe the words from Dell's CEO said that company should create an environment to support staff to live (not only their living, same concept mentioned in the book "The world is flat"). Creativity business should do more like Google and Pixar. AND-1 is also a good example of it, you may google or wiki it furthermore
Style of Hong Kong Company is absolutely obseleted, may be few generation ...
What should we do?

anyway, i totally agree with you but it costs too much to support staff to live. in HK, companies aren't willing to spend in the background to improve the foreground. they just spend on the foreground and let the background go to shits. when will they realize their error? never.

I don't think so, i just think about a movie called "Lake House", did u watch it?
I still remember my first company has an area for us to play "毽"... The company will buy some snacks for us, and we did have a lot of company activities. Free and open minded like those in silicon valley....
but the company could not survive after one year I joined it. The money ran out very soon and the bubble of IT companies vanished.
um ... that's the point of "Do What you can do"(量力而為) ~
Most of those HK IT company is no vision or have a Unreachable vision, so ... finally failed.
IT is high risk business, but how many can success!?
