從前，有一隻白兔，牠走過一棵大榕樹，發覺樹上面坐了一隻烏鴉。
白兔問烏鴉： 「可以教我像你一樣終日無承事事嗎？」
烏鴉點頭表示：「這個容易，只需坐在這棵樹就可以。」
白兔如言坐在樹底，果然清風送爽，好不快活，豈料卻惹來一隻狐狸，一口把白兔咬
住。
白兔臨死前向烏鴉講：「我死得很冤枉，都是你的錯！」
烏鴉不慌不忙回答白兔：「想終日無承事事，像我般風流快活，首要條件是要坐
得很高的位置。你只是坐在樹底，一定是首先被犧牲的那個！」
白兔死不瞑目，詛咒烏鴉嘴只懂講廢話。
烏鴉望住白兔吞下最後一口氣，冷冷回答：「對呀，坐得越高，廢話越多！」
